Alan entered a new decade on August 27th!
Here are some things I've learned about Alan during the past year of being married to him:
*He'll fall asleep during a movie regardless of what time you start it. Even if it's still light outside.
*He has a widespread reputation, either for being the guy who did something crazy and got hurt, or (most often) for being the guy who ate a lot of candy at a public event or celebration
*He's not afraid to wear bicycle spandex ANYWHERE
*He does not function well in heat or traffic
*He washes dishes completely before he puts them in the dishwasher
*He's wonderful and sweet and hilarious - but we all knew that already.

Love you Al! My favorite is the candy eating machine part of you. Britta's mom told me this morning about when Al brought sweat pants over to Britta's house so that he could be comfortable just in case they watched a movie
