Beehive Bazaar (Julia's Craft Fair)

Julia's vender display at the craft fair. She sold pillows, computer cases, dresses, ipod cases, and soaps, all homemade by Julia.  I made the signs you see.
There's Julia next to her display.
The Pillow Display.
The Soap Display.
Julia did better than she expected. She sold ALL the soaps, 1 out of 5 pillows, 5 out of 27 computer cases, and 6 out of 14 dresses.  She did great! yay. Good job, Julia.

Is anyone going to put up their Christmas lists??? or not??? I know I want my people (Natalie and Danny) to put up their Christmas lists so that I can see them and get ideas of what to get them!   k love you family.

It's the most wonderful time of the year!

When Christmas bells are swinging above the fields of snow,
We hear sweet voices ringing from lands of long ago,
And etched on vacant places
Are half-forgotten faces
Of friends we used to cherish,
And loves we used to know.
Ella Wheeler Wilcox

It's the most wonderful time of the year ... to show love to friends, family, and the world all around.  Here are a few pictures reminding me of how much I love you all and how we have been blessed.

Santa Barbara Half Marathon

Jos ran a half marathon on November 1st. She finished so fast we weren't even there to see her come in. She trained very lightly and she beat her last half marathon time. A few days before she and Danny had ridden the course on their bikes and they said it was really hard because there was a really big hill. Doesn't she look amazing for just having finished a run?

Halloween Candy

I asked Gio if he wanted to leave his candy for the Halloween fairy who would brign him a toy. He said no. So we let him eat it all. It only took one night and half a day. I think it helps that there were a lot of big kids around to help out.

Let's go fly a kite & Veteran's Day!

Uncle Dougie, Kaity, and Gio flying Spiderman and Nemo kites at Goleta beach.  Zeke and Gio love flying kites if that means letting go of the string and watching us chase after it.  After singing "Let's go fly a kite" many times, I wanted to watch Marry Poppins with the boys and show them the laughing on the ceiling and kite flying scenes.  (Below)

SOLVANG

Zeke and Gio are great window shoppers.  They strolled down the side walks ooohing and aaaahing and pointing at all the beautiful handicrafts, glassware, and dolls.  Gio especially loves Solvang because of the "Cupcake with a gumball on top" he apparently had in the past.
Zeke liked this little area.

HALLOWEEN

It was fun to have Enos, Jordan, Al, Doug, and Becky here for Halloween!  They were all very realistic scary pirates, as you can see.
Scurvy pirate Beaky, Tiger Lily, and Bandit Joslin
Gio won "Best Costume" at the costume contest!
Captain Hook vs. Peter Pan

This was the best day of Gio and Zeke's life!  They quickly got the hang of knocking on strangers' doors and receiving their choice from a variety of candies.  THE PIRATE AT THE END THERE IS DANNY!  Nobody could recognize him.
