Hi family! A cloud hung over my head throughout church today because I felt so guilty about not posting anything for so long, and nothing about Gio and Zeke and my time here in Santa Barbara. This post may also be kind of short because there's a barbecue outside right now and I want to participate. But first things first.
Friday night we barbecued on the beach! We had delicious trader joe turkey burgers, cookies, chips, and s'mores!
Zeke loved to wade in the water and soak his diaper and clothes, especially when he'd lose his balance from watching the waves rush back and forth.
Gio loved to chase the birds away from the food. The birds weren't really that scared of him though.

Why does zeke look chunky? I miss the babies!!! You are so lucky you get to be with them!
i love you sisters. thanks for letting me steal the swimsuit jules. yes, the babies really are getting BIG! Zeke still can't talk, but tries to by saying the beginning of each word. Ex: ba=blanket, do=don't (we think) di =diaper. He's so smart. Zeke is funny because he's content to play by himself and make sounds.
Gio is big and always talking and wanting to know what we're saying. Whenever we're talking he says "wha you say? wha you say Jos?" It's funny.
oh yeah, okay i should tell you. Zeke, in that picture, was using those pink packages of chocolate as various props. First he was hitting them together like symbols or drums. It was so funny. Then he put them to his hears like they were head phones or something. So funny.
