Oranges, Birthdays, Disneyland, and Tour de California

My ward went orange picking on Saturday for the Santa Barbara Food Bank; showing up with 30 volunteers quickly excited the Food Bank workers and they were continually praising our hard and happy work.  We picked every orange and mandarine in the orchard--about 100 crates. (I ate one orange and it was sooo good.)
The best raviolis I have ever tasted I had on my birthday dinner this year at Ca'Dario's. Birthdays are good days for first times and record breakers.  These raviolis changed my perspective on Italian food in general--I think Kaitlin would agree.

We never exactly got Zeke's story on how he got this chocolate ring around his eye.

Gio has a hobbie:  collecting quarters and putting them into random toy dispensers he spots (and he is a good spotter--he will find a toy or gum ball machine almost anywhere).  He saved up to buy a Pikachu figure from this particular machine.

Lance Armstrong was in Solvang!  So...Giovanni and I drove to Solvang one Friday afternoon to shop and dine at Hans Christian Andersen Square, insert a quarter into the gumball machine there, and watch the world class bike racers zoom by one by one after their time trials.

Chase Palm Park on Sunday morning.

We went to Disneyland TWICE since I last posted (I think twice in two weeks).  The Dumbo ride gets more and more exciting for Zeke and Gio will go on the big rides now!  With excessive persuasion he will go on Pirates of the Caribbean and Peter Pan.  We have sooo much fun at Disneyland every time!!

...sometimes a little too much fun.
